How to deposit at Laimz
A first deposit is the point where an account stops being hypothetical, so it is worth doing carefully once rather than quickly three times. The sequence below is written for a euro payment from Latvia, where the bank app rather than the card tends to be the natural starting point.
Go to the Laimz cashierBefore the first euro moves
Two checks, both quick. Confirm the domain in the register published by IAUI, the Izložu un azartspēļu uzraudzības inspekcija, and confirm it does not appear on the IAUI list of sites blocked for serving Latvian players without a licence. Then complete identity confirmation on the account — Smart-ID handles this for most people in a few seconds, and doing it now rather than at payout time removes the single most common source of delay later.
The deposit sequence
- Sign in and open the cashier. Deposit routes are listed with their own minimums and credit times.
- Pick a route. Internet banking through Swedbank, SEB, Citadele or Luminor, or an open-banking payment via Trustly, is the fastest pairing with a same-day payout later.
- Enter the euro amount. Anything from roughly 10 € upwards is accepted on the mainstream routes; crypto starts higher, around a 20 € equivalent.
- Confirm in your bank app with Smart-ID, or complete the card authentication step if you chose Visa or Mastercard.
- Check that the balance updated and that the transaction appears in the account history with the amount you intended.

Figures of this kind describe normal market behaviour; the limits displayed in the operator’s cashier are the ones that apply to your account and may differ.
The rule that causes most later trouble
Money returns to where it came from, in the name of the account holder. That single principle explains most of what looks arbitrary about deposits at a licensed operator. Fund from your own bank account or card and the payout path is already settled. Fund from someone else, or from a route that cannot receive money back, and the payout has to be redirected — which triggers additional checks and, in the case of a genuine third-party payment, may not be possible at all.
The practical corollary for Paysafecard users is worth stating plainly: a voucher deposit is one-directional, so nominate a bank or card route for withdrawals before you need one. The payout page covers what happens next.
If the money does not arrive
Open the bank app first. A pending authorisation looks much like a completed transfer, and money still sitting in your own account has not gone anywhere. If the payment did complete, take the reference number and the timestamp to operator support, because a specific transfer is traced by that reference and by nothing else. Bank transfers initiated over a weekend commonly settle on the next working day, which accounts for a large share of the reports support receives on Mondays. Contact routes are on our support page.
Depositing within limits
Deposit limits set inside the account are the most effective control available, precisely because they act before the money moves rather than after. Latvia also operates a state self-exclusion register through IAUI: the application can be filed electronically and takes effect across every operator licensed in the country for a term the player chooses. Details are on the self-exclusion page and under responsible gambling. Deposits are for adults aged 18 and over.
