Privacy policy
This statement covers laimz.biz, an informational site about the Laimz brand. It does not describe the operator’s handling of personal data — that is governed by the operator’s own policy, on the operator’s own site, and it applies from the moment a reader leaves this one.
What this site does not do
The shortest useful part of a privacy policy is the list of things that never happen. There are no user accounts here, so there is nothing to sign into. No payment is ever taken, so no card or bank details are entered or stored. No identity documents are requested or received — if a page anywhere asked a reader of this site to upload identity evidence, that page would be fraudulent. There is no forum, no comment field and no profile. The site publishes text and links; that is the whole of its function.
What is processed
| Category | Purpose | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Server request data | Delivering pages and diagnosing faults | Standard web-server records, retained briefly |
| Aggregate analytics | Understanding which pages are read | Reporting is aggregated, not individual profiles |
| Cookies and similar storage | Basic function and measurement | Controllable in the browser; blocking them leaves the site readable |
| Messages sent to us | Answering a correction or question | Only what the sender chooses to include |
The legal basis for delivery and security is the legitimate interest in operating the site; measurement rests on consent where consent is required. The site is not intended for anyone under 18 and is not directed at children.
Rights under EU law
Latvia is an EU member state, so the General Data Protection Regulation applies. That gives a reader the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, together with the right to complain to the national supervisory authority for data protection. Because this site holds no accounts and no transactional records, most requests resolve quickly — usually because there is nothing held beyond routine server data.
Requests concerning a gambling account are a different matter and belong with the operator, which is the controller of that data. We have no ability to retrieve, amend or delete anything held there.
Third parties
Hosting and analytics are provided by external services, which process data as part of delivering the site. Outbound links lead to the operator, and following one moves the reader onto infrastructure governed by a different policy. The commercial relationship behind those links is disclosed under affiliate disclosure, and no personal data about a reader is transferred there by us — an affiliate link carries a campaign reference, not an identity.
Cookies in practice
Browser settings allow storage to be blocked or cleared, and this site remains fully readable with cookies disabled, since there is no session to maintain. Anyone wanting a stricter setup can also use private browsing without losing any function here.
Changes and contact
If this statement changes, the amended version replaces this one at the same address. Questions about it, and corrections to any page, can be raised through the routes listed under support. The editorial context for how the site operates is on the about page, and the conditions of use are set out under terms.
