Laimz Cashback

Cashback is the only offer family that pays you for a period that went badly, which makes it structurally different from everything else in the catalogue. It is also the family with the lightest conditions, and often the most useful for a player who deposits regularly and modestly.

The calculation in euro

The base is net loss over a defined period, usually a calendar week. Take everything staked and lost on eligible games, subtract everything won back, and apply the stated percentage to whatever remains. Deposit 200 € across a week, finish with 60 € on the balance, and the net loss is 140 €. At ten percent the rebate is 14 €. If the week ends level or in profit, nothing is paid, because there is no loss to rebate.

Because Latvia trades in euro throughout, this number is exact. There is no conversion spread between the currency you deposited in and the currency the rebate is calculated in — a small advantage over an offshore account held in a currency your Latvian bank does not carry, where two conversions can quietly consume a percentage point or two on their own.

The payout form matters more than the percentage

Two operators can both advertise ten percent and deliver entirely different products. If the rebate lands as unrestricted euro, it is yours: withdrawable immediately, no counter, no deadline. If it lands as promotional balance carrying a turnover multiple, it is a deposit offer with a different name, and it should be compared against reload offers rather than against genuine cashback.

A third variant sets a maximum rebate per period. That ceiling makes the offer meaningfully smaller for anyone playing above the cap and completely irrelevant for anyone playing below it, which is most people. Find the ceiling before you find the percentage.

Common exclusions

Why the tier ladder often decides your rate

At many operators the rebate percentage is not fixed but attached to a loyalty level, so long-standing accounts receive a better rate than new ones. That structure is described on our loyalty tiers page. It has an uncomfortable implication worth stating plainly: a higher rebate rate is earned by more play, and more play means larger losses in absolute terms. A better percentage of a bigger number is not a better outcome.

Reading it honestly

Cashback softens variance; it does not change the direction of the arithmetic. A ten percent rebate on losses means you still lose ninety percent of what you lost. It is a reasonable thing to have and a terrible thing to plan around, and the mistake it encourages — staking more because part of it comes back — is the one to guard against.

Deposit limits in the account remain the practical control, and they work independently of any rebate. Latvia also runs a state self-exclusion register through IAUI, the Izložu un azartspēļu uzraudzības inspekcija, which can be joined electronically and applies across all licensed operators for a term the player chooses; see our guide and the responsible gambling page. Adults aged 18 and over only.

FAQ

What counts as a net loss for cashback purposes?
Deposits staked and lost within the qualifying period, minus anything won back, calculated in euro across the eligible games. It is not a share of your turnover and not a share of individual losing sessions. A week where you finished level or ahead produces nothing, which is exactly how the mechanism is meant to behave.
Does cashback come with a turnover requirement?
Sometimes, and it is the single line that decides whether the offer is generous or ordinary. Cashback paid as unrestricted euro is the best version of this promotion available anywhere. Cashback paid as promotional balance at a multiple is closer to an ordinary deposit offer wearing different packaging. The terms page distinguishes the two clearly.
Do losses funded by a bonus count towards the rebate?
Typically not. Most terms exclude stakes made with promotional balance, so a week spent working through a welcome offer can produce a much smaller rebate than the raw numbers suggest. Where losses on live tables or particular game categories are excluded as well, the terms say so, and it is worth reading that list before assuming a figure.
